Freddy Olivarez, Chief Executive Officer

Freddy is a West Texas native and began his healthcare career in 2001 serving in various capacities, including Chief Information Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. Freddy began his career with Medical Arts Hospital in 2001 and left to pursue other employment opportunities and further his education. He returned to Medical Arts Hospital in 2023 and now serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the hospital district. He is a graduate of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Health Professions with a bachelor’s degree Healthcare Management and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration.

Diane Sherrill, Director of Nursing

Diane is a Lamesa native and  began her career at Medical Arts Hospital in 1991 as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. In 1992, she left to further her education and in 1993 she completed her Associate Degree in Nursing from Howard County Junior College. From 1994 to present time, Diane has held varying positions in the nursing department to include staff and charge nurse, Med Surg/OP clinical coordinator, nursing staff education, and Clinical Informatics.  She is currently the Director of Nursing Services. She and her husband, Tim, enjoy family time, especially the grandbabies, are active in church ministries, and love spending time traveling.
